Und trotzdem habe ich mir wochenlang eingeredet: „Das wächst sich aus. Alle Babys liegen viel auf dem Rücken. Ich übertreibe bestimmt."
Bis ich irgendwann nicht mehr wegsehen konnte.
Da habe ich beschlossen: Jetzt handle ich.
Und genau das siehst du auf diesen beiden Fotos. Links, bevor ich etwas geändert habe. Rechts, nach etwa 5 Wochen.
Denn eine Sache wollte ich um jeden Preis vermeiden.

Helmtherapie.
Ich wusste, dass es das gibt. Aber ich hatte nie gedacht, dass es mein Baby betreffen könnte.
Ich habe Erfahrungsberichte gelesen. Eltern, die geschrieben haben, sie hätten früher reagieren wollen.
Eine Helmtherapie kann medizinisch absolut sinnvoll sein, wenn sie empfohlen wird.
Aber der Gedanke, dass mein Baby monatelang eine feste Orthese tragen muss...
Hat mich innerlich fertig gemacht.
Nicht aus Panik.
Sondern weil ich mich gefragt habe:
Warum habe ich so lange gewartet?

Mein Baby lag viel. Immer leicht zur gleichen Seite. Immer derselbe Druckpunkt.
Nicht, weil ich etwas falsch gemacht habe.
Sondern weil Babys Gewohnheiten entwickeln.
Sie schrieb, sie habe:
- konsequent umgelagert
- mehr Bauchlage gemacht
- öfter getragen
und tagsüber unter Aufsicht ein druckentlastendes Kissen genutzt
Nicht als Wunderlösung.
Sondern als konsequente Unterstützung.

Wenn über Wochen immer wieder derselbe Punkt belastet wird, kann sich das sichtbar ausprägen.
